Job Description
We are looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the warehouse operations team at Aldi. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. The position offers a starting wage of $25.75 per hour for less than 30 hours of work per week. Our warehouse environment requires both ambient and temperature-controlled work.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvement and collaborate with the management team.
- Inspect and report product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
- Operate equipment safely and follow company procedures.
Job Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success. Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team are essential. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
The role involves lifting up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, standing, bending, reaching, and operating industrial equipment in varying temperatures.
