Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $18.50 to $24.50 per hour, based on shift and schedule differentials. As a warehouse team member, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and participating in inventory counts.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input on process improvements.
- Inspect product quality and convey relevant information to management.
- Follow ergonomic and safety procedures.
- Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to work conscientiously, collaborate with a team, maintain a positive attitude, strive for success, and organize tasks efficiently.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication and basic arithmetic skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Engage in various physical activities such as bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment safely.
