Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store operations, supervising the team, and ensuring outstanding customer service. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop operational strategies, identify training needs, and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store performance.

- Monitor the local market and recommend adjustments to stay competitive.

- Resolve operational issues in the absence of the direct leader.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Manage stock levels, merchandising, and product quality.
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring high levels of customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in retail operations and management preferred.
- Knowledge of budgeting, personnel costs, and expenses.
- Proficiency in operating equipment like cash registers and cleaning tools.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 3 years of retail experience, with prior management experience being a plus.
