Job Description: Cashier/Stocker (Part Time) at ALDI
Join our team at ALDI as a Cashier/Stocker and play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a Cashier, you will process purchases, provide exceptional customer service, and adhere to cash handling procedures. As a Stocker, you will ensure shelves are stocked, merchandise displays are appealing, and inventory is accurately monitored. Both roles require teamwork, effective communication, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information.
- Uphold security and confidentiality standards.
- Operate machinery and maintain store cleanliness.
- Process customer purchases accurately.
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and create visually appealing displays.
- Follow safety procedures and merchandising guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to engage in physical tasks such as stocking merchandise, bending, reaching, and lifting items up to 45 pounds. Ability to operate equipment safely.
