Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience and maintaining the store's appearance. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the store is well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties and process customer purchases.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store by stocking shelves and displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Capability to perform general cleaning duties and maintain company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
