Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with the team and management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
- Follow established security and confidentiality protocols
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of fulfilling cleaning duties as per company standards
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Detailed-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol
- Prior retail experience is preferred
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous work experience in a retail environment
