Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your outstanding customer service skills will contribute to an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. Mindsets and Competencies
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Offer feedback on products and inventory matters
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies
- Follow company policies and ensure data security
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe and proper use of store equipment
- Adherence to cleaning and company standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow instructions
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
