Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store is well-maintained. Your role will involve enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional service and effective collaboration with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate actively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Conduct store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain document security.
- Complete other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or above to work at ALDI.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Able to meet physical demands of the job, including stocking shelves.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking effectively.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent is accepted.
