Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store is well-maintained. Your role will involve enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional service and effective collaboration with the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Communicate actively with team members and store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
  • Conduct store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain document security.
  • Complete other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years old or above to work at ALDI.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Able to meet physical demands of the job, including stocking shelves.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking effectively.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is an advantage.
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent is accepted.
