Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a vital part of the store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills while performing daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, restock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate openly with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock monitoring.
- Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures for security.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality of information.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possess strong customer service skills and operate a cash register efficiently.
- Able to use store equipment safely and follow cleaning standards.
- Understand and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Work well independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to multitask proficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.
- Prior retail experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent.
