Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
- Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Stock shelves, process customer purchases, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Operate equipment such as a cash register, hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Prior retail experience is preferred.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
