Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and providing exceptional service. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses
- Adhere to company procedures while maintaining document security
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous service
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
- Skilled in general cleaning tasks and following company policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to work independently and within a team environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcohol
- Prior retail experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
