Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate, working 32-40 hours per week. As a Store Associate, you'll be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and maintain confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills
- Capable of meeting physical demands such as lifting up to 45 pounds and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team
- High school diploma preferred, retail experience a plus
