Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Participate in inventory management, including conducting store counts and monitoring accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Proficiency in cash register operations and equipment handling.
- Ability to perform general cleaning tasks and follow company standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience considered.
