Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store operates smoothly and provides excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper use of equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
