Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers by handling various tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and support customer inquiries
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
- Follow company policies to ensure document security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of meeting physical requirements such as lifting, stocking, and cleaning
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
