Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure the store's impeccable appearance. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively within the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning, and neatly stock shelves
- Assist customers, communicate clearly with the team, and provide feedback to management
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Excellent customer service and cash register operation skills
- Aptitude for operating equipment and following cleaning standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
- Prior work experience in retail is preferred
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience or a combination of education and experience
