Job Description
Join the University of Vermont Health Network as a MRI Supervisor in our Radiology Department. In this role, you will be the Team Leader responsible for overseeing all technical and compliance aspects of MRI operations. Your duties will include scheduling, hiring, technical procedures, patient care, and acting as a coach to provide guidance and facilitate collaboration within the team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all technical and compliance measures of MRI operations.
- Assist in scheduling employees to meet patient volume needs.
- Participate in the hiring process and act as a coach for staff.
- Ensure safe and effective patient care through technical procedures and workflow management.
- Participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule.
Requirements
- Associates Degree preferred, or equivalent from an approved Medical Radiographic Program.
- Advanced certification in MRI.
- At least 3 years of experience in the appropriate modality.
- Supervisory skills/experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
