Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This full-time night shift position in the Coronary Care Unit offers an opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives. As a PCT, you will work under the supervision of nursing and medical staff to provide essential care and support to patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and report patients' progress to the medical team.
- Take vital signs, collect specimens, and assist with basic patient transport and housekeeping.
- Record patients' intake and output, measurements, and assist with range of motion exercises.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Preferred: Two years of experience in acute or long-term care, or enrolled in nursing school.
