Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Patient Care Tech (PCT) for our Medical Surgical department at Hillcrest Hospital Cushing in Cushing, OK. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients with daily living activities and providing compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning, and ambulating patients.
• Help patients with personal hygiene tasks and provide adjunct care such as ice packs and dressings.
• Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with nurses and staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to professional standards and follow established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be competent in at least two areas of practice and willing to cross-train as needed.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in acute or long-term care, completion of CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification.
