Private Duty Nurse RN

Job Description

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Nurses (RN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide personalized one-on-one care to our patients, allowing them to remain comfortably at home with their loved ones. Our nurses enjoy the flexibility of choosing between various scheduling options, including Over-Time, Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per-diem, and receive competitive weekly pay rates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to supervisors or physicians.
• Document all care activities, assessments, and nursing actions promptly and accurately.
• Participate in the development and updating of nursing care plans.
• Implement appropriate nursing interventions based on assessments and expected outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education on disease processes, self-care techniques, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain infection control measures to ensure the safety of staff and patients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months experience as a practicing nurse; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Active Nursing License in good standing with the board.
• Current CPR Certification with hands-on BLS training.
