Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Medical ICU RN, you will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team focused on evidence-based research and best practices for critical care. The MICU is a challenging environment that requires astute assessment skills and clinical reasoning to treat patients with multi-system organ impairment.

Unit Description

• Provide professional nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing plan of care.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team to deliver excellent patient care.
• Participate in quality initiatives, research projects, and continuous learning opportunities.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• BSN preferred - External candidates hired into RN positions must obtain their BSN.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a specific clinical area.

Incentives

• External candidates with 1 year of experience are eligible for a one-time sign-on bonus of $10,000.
