Retail Sales Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well maintained, products are stocked, and customers receive exceptional service. This is a full-time position, requiring 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accurate stock levels.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills.
• Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• High school diploma preferred with retail experience.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail work experience is beneficial.
