Job Description
We are looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Store Management Trainee at Aldi. In this role, you will receive comprehensive training to prepare you for managing your store successfully. Your responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational plans. As part of the training program, you will mentor and lead a team while learning the essential aspects of running a store effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations to deliver exceptional customer service
- Implement company strategies and core values to foster teamwork among employees
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain store signage and product quality standards
- Participate in the hiring and training of store personnel
- Create schedules and manage staffing levels effectively
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for team members
- Manage budgets and achieve financial targets
- Ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors
- Oversee product merchandising and inventory management
- Comply with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience in retail management is a plus
- Knowledge of budgeting, personnel management, and operational processes
- Proficient in using cash registers and store equipment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
