Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Store Management Trainee at Aldi. In this role, you will receive comprehensive training to prepare you for managing your store successfully. Your responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational plans. As part of the training program, you will mentor and lead a team while learning the essential aspects of running a store effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily store operations to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Implement company strategies and core values to foster teamwork among employees
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain store signage and product quality standards
  • Participate in the hiring and training of store personnel
  • Create schedules and manage staffing levels effectively

  • Ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors
  • Oversee product merchandising and inventory management

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in retail management is a plus
  • Knowledge of budgeting, personnel management, and operational processes
  • Proficient in using cash registers and store equipment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
