Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring efficient operations within the store environment. You will collaborate with team members and store management to uphold ALDI standards and enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cashiering duties and process customer purchases.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves and merchandise displays.
  • Provide courteous and prompt customer service, assisting shoppers as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and report any inventory or operational issues to management.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and store security.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Operate equipment such as cash registers, manual hand jacks, and floor scrubbers safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Experience in retail and cash handling preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
