Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will directly impact the customer shopping experience through exceptional service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers during their store visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and suggest improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash policies to prevent losses and comply with company procedures.
• Adhere to established company policies, maintain security, and uphold confidentiality.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in cashier operations and customer service.
• Ability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and team player.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask efficiently.
• Familiarity with retail operations preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
