Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall customer shopping experience through exceptional service delivery.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI values and competencies in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize shelves and merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate product feedback to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure cash handling procedures are followed.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Proficiency in customer service and cash register operation.
- Ability to operate store equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to work both independently and within a team.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
