Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized, contributing to an excellent shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
  • Adhere to all company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
  • Perform physical tasks including stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general cleaning duties.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • High school diploma preferred with retail experience desirable.
