Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a key member of the store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Starting Wage
$17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies, minimize losses, and uphold company procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
- Capability to follow cleaning standards and company policies
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
- A combination of education and experience will be considered
