Construction Intern

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Construction Intern to join our team at Home Creations in Edmond, Oklahoma. As a full-time hourly employee, you will work closely with our Superintendent to support various construction, maintenance, and landscaping activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping, yards, shrubs, trees, and watering sod.
• Perform minor touch-ups and activities on the punch list.
• Ensure the quality of the final product meets standards.
• Walk through every house daily and communicate with subcontractors.
• Attend staff meetings and assist with any other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma and six months of general labor experience.
• Knowledge of erosion control guidelines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Work Environment

You will be exposed to various outdoor work conditions and physical demands, including bending, lifting, and walking. Reasonable accommodations can be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Tools and Equipment

You will use basic tools, a tablet/phone if necessary, tape measure, levels, and hand/power tools.
