About the Role:
As a Corrugator Supervisor at Hood Container Corporation, you will be responsible for managing employees to meet manufacturing and production schedules, providing overall direction to production floor employees, and striving to improve operational efficiencies. You will coordinate production operations, ensure quality procedures and safety regulations, and provide leadership on the operating floor. The ideal candidate is self-driven with a passion for excellence in safety, people development, and customer focus.

Responsibilities:

• Manage employees to meet manufacturing and production schedules
• Provide overall direction to production floor employees
• Coordinate production operations and ensure quality procedures and safety regulations
• Provide leadership on the operating floor and strive for compliance in safety, health, environmental, and quality
• Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, production, problem solving, and communication skills
• Track continuous improvement opportunities and provide action plans for gap closure

Requirements:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. with equivalent experience
• 3-5 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing industry
• Corrugated industry experience preferred
• Ability to work in high temperature & humidity conditions
• Fast-paced and dynamic environment
