Full-Time Store Associate (New Store)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our new store team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by collaborating with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Act Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Conduct inventory counts and monitor accuracy following guidelines.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to ensure security.
• Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining document security.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
