Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join the Delivery Team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Home Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering and setting up merchandise for our customers in a safe and efficient manner. If you enjoy working independently, providing exceptional customer service, and driving success, this position is ideal for you.
Responsibilities
- Deliver merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, setting up merchandise, and ensuring accurate delivery.
- Maintain clean delivery vehicles and perform daily vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure proper handling of merchandise and equipment to prevent damage or injury.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and enjoy interacting with customers.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and function as a reliable team player.
- Capable of providing direction, maintaining accurate records, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and drug screening.
