Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time AP Biology Teacher to join our faculty for the 2024-2025 academic year at Match Charter Public School in Boston. As an AP Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching high school AP Biology classes, planning engaging lessons, maintaining high academic standards, and actively participating in the school community.
Responsibilities
- Teach up to two high school AP Biology classes.
- Plan daily lessons with support from the science department.
- Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students.
- Participate actively in coaching and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with the school community and assist with school programming.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of full-time teaching experience.
- Valid teaching license or ability to obtain one.
- Belief in student success and continual improvement.
- Proven record of student achievement and ability to work in a team.
