Job Description
We are looking for a talented Project Engineer - Mechanical to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC in New Berlin, WI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical and structural design activities related to the modification and modernization of electric overhead cranes for Region Americas.
Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical and structural design tasks for Legacy EOT and Portal Cranes.
- Translate customer specifications into project plans and perform necessary design calculations.
- Create equipment layouts, detailed drawings, and work instructions for field installation.
- Lead project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience with overhead electric cranes or similar industrial equipment.
- PE license or ability to obtain licensure is a plus.
- Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Other Details
- Ability to work at heights up to 100 feet and travel domestically and internationally.
- Familiarity with industry specifications including CMAA and ASME B30.
- Knowledge of welding and machining processes.
