Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Resident Monitor/Security (Part-time Weekend shifts) to join our team at Wisconsin Community Services. This position involves supervising adult male ex-offenders in a correctional residential setting and ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols. The role also includes general office duties and may require flexibility to work in different programs within the Residential Reentry Division.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor adult male ex-offenders in various residential and community settings.
• Ensure adherence to safety, security, and sanitation regulations.
• Perform general office tasks as assigned.
• Participate in mandatory overtime shifts and maintain constant alertness.
• Demonstrate effective communication and crisis de-escalation skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in corrections, security, or social services preferred.
• Clearance of Caregiver and Background checks, physical exam, and drug screening.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents.

Additional Information

• Work primarily with residents and interact with various stakeholders.
• Adhere to agency policies and procedures, maintaining professional relationships.
• Perform duties in an adult correctional halfway house setting.
• Must be physically able to handle demands of the position, including emergency evacuations.
