Security- Resident Monitor II (Part-time and Fill-in shifts available) Parsons House Reentry Services

Job Description

Wisconsin Community Services is seeking a Security- Resident Monitor II for part-time and fill-in shifts at Parsons House Reentry Services. As a Resident Monitor, you will supervise adult male and female offenders in a correctional residential setting and ensure compliance with safety and security protocols while performing general office duties. Various shifts are available with current needs for 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 12:00 am as well as part-time 5-hour shifts and weekend openings on Saturday & Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor clients within the facility and in the community.
• Enforce house rules and maintain accountability of residents.
• Perform security checks, conduct surveillance, and document activities.
• Assist with resident intake, office duties, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in corrections or related field preferred.
• Clear background checks, physical exam, and drug screening.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to de-escalate crises.
• Basic computer proficiency and sensitivity to cultural diversity.

Physical Demands

Ability to climb stairs, remain mobile, and provide First Aid and CPR.
