1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with 30-35 hours per week and starting wages ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. As part of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing shipments.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product for quality and safety.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
