Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will assist with overseeing day-to-day store activities, optimizing store performance, managing schedules, and implementing operational action plans. You will play a key part in training and developing the team to ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
- Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
- Ensure adherence to company values and foster a sense of teamwork.
- Monitor the competitive environment and recommend adjustments.
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and address customer concerns.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
- Merchandise products effectively to maximize sales.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in retail management is preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in cash register operation and equipment handling.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
