Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will assist with overseeing day-to-day store activities, optimizing store performance, managing schedules, and implementing operational action plans. You will play a key part in training and developing the team to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Ensure adherence to company values and foster a sense of teamwork.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and recommend adjustments.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and address customer concerns.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Merchandise products effectively to maximize sales.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in retail management is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in cash register operation and equipment handling.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
