Job Description

We are currently hiring for the position of Assistant Store Manager at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day store activities, supervising the team, ensuring store performance, and implementing operational improvements. This is a full-time position with an average of 38 hours per week and a starting wage of $25.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance store operations
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team
  • Identify training opportunities for team development
  • Ensure adherence to company strategy and core values
  • Monitor the competitive environment and suggest necessary adjustments
  • Provide product feedback and recommendations
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and team performance
  • Maintain stock levels, merchandise products, and ensure store cleanliness
  • Uphold company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in retail management preferred

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of retail experience
  • Management experience is a plus
