Job Description
We are currently hiring for the position of Assistant Store Manager at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day store activities, supervising the team, ensuring store performance, and implementing operational improvements. This is a full-time position with an average of 38 hours per week and a starting wage of $25.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance store operations
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team
- Identify training opportunities for team development
- Ensure adherence to company strategy and core values
- Monitor the competitive environment and suggest necessary adjustments
- Provide product feedback and recommendations
- Supervise day-to-day operations and team performance
- Maintain stock levels, merchandise products, and ensure store cleanliness
- Uphold company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience in retail management preferred
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of retail experience
- Management experience is a plus
