Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring excellent store performance, and developing operational plans while fostering team growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance operational results.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities for team development and performance improvement.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and provide feedback to enhance store positioning.
- Participate in the hiring process and oversee team operations.
- Maintain inventory procedures, product quality, and customer service standards.
- Ensure store cleanliness, appropriate stock levels, and merchandise display.
- Supervise day-to-day team operations and escalate issues when needed.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in retail management is preferred.
- Proficient in interpreting and applying company policies.
- Ability to operate store equipment and cash register.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
- Prior management experience is a plus.
