Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a key part in managing store operations, leading a team to provide exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store's overall performance. As an Assistant Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing action plans, training and developing staff, maintaining inventory levels, and upholding company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store operations.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities for team development.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback on product offerings.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ensure store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and product merchandising.

Job Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Prior retail experience preferred.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years retail experience.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
