Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison (Remote)

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is looking for an Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Hematology-Oncology to join their team. This strategic leadership role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to lead and inspire a team of MSLs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and providing field-based medical support. The position reports to the National Director, US Medical Affairs, MSLs, Jazz Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Guide MSLs in engaging with thought leaders in academic and clinical medicine.
• Lead, coach, and develop MSLs to support high performance and strategic alignment.
• Manage territory engagement plans and ensure reporting of clinical insights.
• Work closely with the Medical Leadership Team to prioritize team needs and establish collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and healthcare guidelines in all activities.

Additional Responsibilities

• Develop the MSL team through hiring, training, and performance management.
• Maintain clinical and scientific expertise in therapeutic areas.
• Foster relationships internally and externally.
• Support Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging principles.

Qualifications

• MD, PharmD, PhD degree or equivalent, preferably with Oncology experience.
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience, including team management.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Leadership, negotiation, and willingness to travel required.
