Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Executive Director, Late Development Team Lead for Oncology to play a pivotal role in progressing late-stage product developments. The ideal candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure alignment with the company's mission, and drive global product strategies to benefit patients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee cross-functional Late Development Teams from proof of concept to product approval.
• Develop product vision and strategy in alignment with Jazz's mission and goals.
• Engage with key functional areas to identify global development opportunities.
• Create and manage Integrated Product Development Plans and oversee regulatory filings.
• Mentor team members, resolve conflicts, and promote team cohesiveness.
• Coordinate activities with other teams and ensure timely escalation of risks and issues.

Requirements

• +15 years of global drug development experience in pharma/biotech industry.
• Demonstrated success in strategic leadership and program delivery.
• Strong scientific background and experience in oncology drug development.
• Proven ability to lead high-priority projects and manage collaborations effectively.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, problem-solving skills, and decisive leadership qualities.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Education and Licenses

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
