Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Medical Director, Medical Affairs - Oncology to join our innovative team. In this role, you will support US Medical Affairs activities related to HER2+ target therapy in Gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma (GEA) and Biliary tract cancers (BTCs). You will be responsible for developing and maintaining scientific and educational programs, collaborating with cross-functional partners, providing medical support for brand strategies, and engaging in various medical initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support US Medical Affairs activities related to HER2+ target therapy in GEA and BTCs.
  • Develop and maintain non-promotional, evidence-based scientific and educational programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to achieve business goals.
  • Provide medical support for brand strategies and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/healthcare/academic industry experience.
  • Strong clinical or scientific background in Oncology.
  • Experience in the review and interpretation of clinical-medical trial data.
  • Excellent presentation skills and credibility within the medical community.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and in a cross-functional team.

Education and Licenses

  • Requires an advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD).

Travel

  • 20-30% domestic travel required.
