Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies in daily tasks
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively
  • Work collaboratively with team members and communicate with management
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and suggest improvements
  • Assist in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
  • Adhere to all company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Proficient in cash register operations and equipment handling
  • Capable of meeting physical demands of the job
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
