Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join ALDI's team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the customer shopping experience and providing exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in inventory management and cash handling
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
