Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Follow company policies while ensuring document and data security
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of general cleaning duties and following policies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
