Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) outlined for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, assist customers with their shopping experience, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Report product issues and inventory discrepancies to management.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies to minimize losses.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and security measures.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team or independently.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
  • High school diploma preferred with prior retail experience.
