Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our store staff, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
• Comply with company policies, ensuring document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be employed at ALDI.
• Ability to deliver timely and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register with accuracy.
• Safely handle equipment and perform cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Understand and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
