Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Executive Director to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals as the head of our Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations team. In this role, you will lead a group of professionals responsible for managing and executing our Oncology Phase 1-3 pipeline, ensuring successful project delivery and achievement of key objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all operational aspects of the Jazz late-stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
  • Assure the accuracy and appropriateness of clinical research budgets and timelines.
  • Influence development team thinking to enable high-quality, operationally feasible clinical trial protocols and plans.
  • Analyze and develop action plans to address issues with investigational sites, CRAs, and CROs.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to staff, including setting goals aligned with corporate and project objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and successful trial conduct.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 10 years in oncology.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical research functions, ICH GCPs, and regulatory aspects.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and financial acumen.
  • Expertise in clinical trial operations and understanding of clinical trial technology.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
